Working together to create new opportunities

This event is sponsored by Kirrikin

As social entrepreneurs we have a vision for a better world, but we can’t do everything alone. What kind of lessons can we learn from partnerships that bridge social and commercial businesses, remote and urban communities, and Indigenous and non-Indigenous collaborators? How can we work together effectively, and by partnering well, what kind of new industries and opportunities develop?

In this session we learn about Red Earth, a social enterprise enabling Traditional Owners to deliver culture camps on Country, and Farmer Meets Foodie which is disrupting food supply chains to keep food, and profits, local.

Host: Amanda Healy (Kirrikin)
Speakers: Nick Brown-Graham (Red Earth), Francis Walker (Kuku Yalanji Traditional Owner), Kathleen Walker (Kuku Yalanji Elder), Erica Hughes (Farmer Meets Foodie), Brian Van Wyk (Austral Fisheries).
